The weekend was full and was a blast! Here's some highlights and thoughts:
- Our family connection time has been a little crazy lately. Jacob had to work on Friday evening so when he got home we went out for a late dinner at Qdoba. We laughed a lot.
- Saturday Jordan and I spent some time at the Fruitport Network yard clean up project helping a family in need. We had 27 people show up to help. It was great connecting with others.
- That afternoon was spent cleaning up my own yard. I didn't mind it because it was so nice being outside.
- Saturday night we went to visit some friends who recently adopted 2 boys from Ethiopia. As I observed them I was challenged to keep living beyond myself.
- Sunday I was up for speaking. It was tough to talk on the reliability of the Bible in 30 minutes. I hope it was helpful for people. Keep asking "Is the foundation of your life reliable?" and "What does the Bible say about my life?"
- Sunday night we had Journey Group at my house. What a great group of people!
- And to top it off, the Bears beat the Lions!
